Psychedelic garage punk with lots of reverb, hissing, and howling from former Necessary Evils/Feast of Snakes James Arthur. Scratchy and jumpy like a bad drug reaction, this 7” opens with the punk “My Gawd!” and “Chingow”, a slower instrumental track ideal for desperate, desolate nights. Side B opens with “Job” a masterpiece of lo-fi country vocals and cloudy effects and then slides perfectly into the spooky feedback loop of “Loan not Alone” that cuts out just as you’re about to go insane. Recorded on a 4-track in Texas. Brilliant.
