GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Dead by Mono Records online shop sell physical products, downloads of music, data, goods and services to you subject to the terms and conditions set out below. By using Dead by Mono Records, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. PRICES

All our prices are in British Pounds Sterling (£) GBP. If you wish to convert Pounds into your local currency the following website will give you an indication of equivalent price: xe currency convertor

2. PRODUCTS

We sell brand new and pre-owned products. Pre-owned products will be labelled accordingly and displayed in a dedicated area. We try to ensure that stock control system is as up-to-date as possible but occasionally some items will not be available. 

3. PAYMENTS

We accept all credit and debit cards through Paypal – it’s quick and easy to use and it will process your payment in seconds. You do not need to have an account. CARDS ACCEPTED via PayPal: Visa, MasterCard and Switch / Maestro. Orders will only be sent after payment completed. Your order confirmation email and despatch note will confirm the sum deducted from your credit card. Unpaid orders will be cancelled after 24 hours without prior notice. Credit card fraud attempts will be reported to the authorities.

4. SHIPPING

We ship internationally. You can choose different shipping options and check prices using the postage calculator in your shopping basket.

  • UK – Royal Mail 2nd Class and Royal Mail Signed For® 2nd Class (recommended for large orders)
  • Europe – Royal Mail International Standard and Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed (recommended for large orders).
  • Rest of World – Royal Mail International Standard (ROW-Zone1) and (ROW-Zone2) and Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed (ROW-Zone1) and (ROW-Zone2) (recommended for large orders).

5. DELIVERY TIME

Most products available in stock can be despatched quickly. Orders containing in stock and pre-order products will only be despatched when pre-order products are available. You will be informed of the progress of your order. Please add our email – info@deadbymono.com, to your email list to avoid our emails to go to your spam folder. No orders will be despatched over weekends or public holidays.

On average:

  • UK customers – Two to three working days (including Saturdays) after order despatched.
  • European customers – Three to five working days after order despatched.
  • Rest of World customers – Five to seven working days after order despatched.

6. MAKING AN ORDER

Find the product(s) you want – use the site search facility to look for artists, albums, formats, etc – and add to the shopping basket. You can either, continue shopping or proceed to checkout. Fill in the order form with your details and process payment.

You will receive an order confirmation once your payment has been accepted. A second email will be sent when your order is despatched.

There is a different process for download orders, please see the following sections – 7, 8, 9 and 10.

7. DOWNLOAD PURCHASES

You will be able to access links that will allow you to download your files only after payment is complete. In some cases, you will be able to download a second copy of the files within thirty days. Your login and password data are privileged information and unique to you and must not be given to anyone else.

8. BROKEN LINKS OR DOWNLOAD ERROR

If you experience a problem when downloading material or encounter a broken link then please inform us immediately via methods indicated on the website – contact form, or by sending an email to info@deadbymono.com. Please provide as much detail as possible and include details of the download product, date/time and any relevant order number you may have.

If any download file persistently fails to complete, you may request that we withdraw your access to the file and we will refund the full value of the file to you.

9. AVAILABILITY

We shall make every effort to ensure that downloads you have purchased are available for collection immediately or at any time within thirty days of the date of purchase. However it is possible that at times of very heavy demand, or in case of exceptional technical problems you may be requested to collect your file(s) at another time.

10. AFTER PURCHASE

After a product has been purchased and downloaded onto your Data Storage Device (e.g. computer, or any medium on which data can be stored, whether existing now or in the future), you are permitted to have such copies be made available for your own private and domestic use only. Unauthorised duplication, hiring, lending, selling, re-selling, copying of the downloadable product is a violation of applicable laws.

11. CANCELLATIONS

We can only accept cancellations within 24 hours of placing an order. If your order has already been despatched we are unable to accept a cancellation. We do not cancel products from an order, you will however, be able to replace them for similar products within 24 hours of placing an order. Cancellation requests must be sent by email, quoting your name, order number and post code to orders@deadbymono.com.

Download purchases cannot be cancelled. Please see above sections – 7, 8, 9 and 10 for Download Purchases.

12. GUARANTEES AND RETURNS

All orders use properly packaging such as, cardboard mailers and specialist shipping boxes, so that all products are guaranteed to reach you in perfect condition.

We will only refund or replace products that are defective or are damaged in transit. This is subject to the buyer notifying the us within five working days of receipt of the goods and giving a description of the damage / defect. In some cases we will ask you to provide photographic evidence. Do not send products back without prior permission. Items must be in unused and unopened. You will have to bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

Report faulty items by email to info@deadbymono.com and we will send you return instructions.

13. WEBSITE

Our website is expected to be available for everyone around the world 24 hours and 7 days a week. However this might not always be possible. This could be due to website maintenance, power failure or internet data is slow/down. We will do our best to maintain access.

Dead by Mono Records website is published for the use and viewing of all interested parties, but its entire contents, text, data files and images are copyright and may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.

Please do not attempt to break, hack or alter our site – It took us many hours, days, weeks and months of loving care and thought to put together.

“Parental Advisory Warning” – It is possible that, from time to time, some people might regard our work as unsuitable for minors under the age of 18, although we do not hold this view. If you are under the age of 18, you should consider reviewing these terms and conditions with your parent or guardian first. Parents, please view the site and listen to its content at your own discretion and allow access accordingly. Please understand that we can not be held liable for material you deem to be unsuitable.

14. ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If, after contacting our customer support team, you still feel you have a dispute about the goods and services provided to you, you can use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform to attempt to resolve the matter. The platform will send your complaint to a certified Alternative Dispute Resolution Provider who works to solve the problem, it is an alternative to pursuing a case through the courts.

15. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
